  I came to The Athena School from Year 1 to Year 5. It was a fantastic period in my life, and really taught me the fundamentals of literacy and numeracy - fundamentals that I have put to great use in my work as a writer - as well as in business. I didn't carry on to High School because there wasn't one at the time! But I am very pleased that there is one now (they go up to Year 10).
  The teachers here are lovely and caring, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the students actually enjoy being here. What a refreshing change!
  The Athena School is truly a hidden gem of Sydney and Newtown in particular.
